Dial-up networking error 630
This error message usually indicates that your modem is either damaged or not installed correctly (see also specific problems below). We suggest the following course of action and retry connection after each one.
1.Shutdown and restart your computer.
2.Run Modem Diagnostics from Control Panel to see if modem responds correctly.
3. If Modem does not respond correctly, please re-install the latest Modem drivers. If you are using Windows 98 or later version, we recommend that you run the Modem Trouble-shooter from the Internal Help System. If this does not cure the problem then we suggest that you consult your computer hardware support or re-install/replace the Modem yourself.
Exceptions:
a) Special Telephone features such as call-waiting or distinctive dial tone. Your telephone company will tell you how to turn this off, usually by adding extra digits to the dial-up number.
