I've recently applied for a Domain Name but it is not visible

When you register a new Domain Name, it may take a number of days for the registration to take place and the Name Servers where the DNS (Domain Name System) records are to be held, set as being ‘Authoritative' for the domain. Once the Name Servers are Authoritative, it may take a further day for DNS propagation to take place through the Internet.

If the domain was being transferred, it may be delayed waiting for the original holders of the domain or DNS record holders to release the domain tag information to allow the new registration to take place.

There are a variety of websites across the Internet providing Domain Name checking tools, typically indicated by a 'Whois' facility link - enabling you to check on the progress/state of a domain registration.
